Disney Worker Says a ‘Silent Majority’ of Employees Support Florida’s Law Against Teaching Sexuality to Kindergarteners

According to at least one insider, a “silent majority” of Disney employees actually support Florida’s Parental Rights in Education, falsely flagged as the “Don’t Say Gay” bill by left-wing radicals who want educators to be allowed to teach kindergarteners about sex.

“There is immense pressure to toe the company line,” current Disney employee Jose Castillo told Fox News. “However, the reality is that those drawing attention to this issue are in the minority. The Disney cast members who support the parental rights defended by HB 1557 far outnumber those who are protesting against it.”

Castillo, who is also running for Congress as a Republican, works as Walt Disney’s resort duty manager. The progressively “woke” company recently came out (pun intended) against the new Florida law, which prohibits teachers from discussing sexual orientation and gender identity with children in grades 3 and below, and which also mandates that any discussions on those topics held in higher grades must be done in an “age appropriate” manner.

The law, which does not prohibit teachers from using the word “gay” or discussing gay historical figures or rights movements, is in response to reports from across the country of public schools indoctrinating very young, prepubescent children with LGBTQ propaganda including explicit lessons on sexuality and anatomy.

Disney, famous for creating content for young children, said the law “never should have passed.”

“Florida’s HB 1557, also known as the ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill, should never have passed and should never have been signed into law,” said the company’s statement. “Our goal as a company is for this law to be repealed by the legislature or struck down in the courts, and we remain committed to supporting the national and state organizations working to achieve that. We are dedicated to standing up for the rights and safety of LGBTQ+ members of the Disney family, as well as the LGBTQ+ community in Florida and across the country.”

Meanwhile, Disney Diversity and Inclusion Manager Vivian Ware was seen on a company video conference call explaining that all Disney theme parks are dropping “gendered” words like “boys and girls” and replace them with “friends” to keep from excluding or offending non-binary persons.

“We’ve provided training for all of our cast members in relationship to that. So now they know it’s ‘Hello, everyone,’ or ‘Hello, friends,'” she said.

While the company has caved to the demands of what appears to be a relative few far-left activists, conservative employees penned an open letter to the company complaining about an “increasingly uncomfortable place to work” for those who aren’t radical leftists.

The Walt Disney Company has come to be an increasingly uncomfortable place to work for those of us whose political and religious views are not explicitly progressive. We watch quietly as our beliefs come under attack from our own employer, and we frequently see those who share our opinions condemned as villains by our own leadership …

… Over the last few weeks, we have watched as our leadership has expressed their condemnation for laws and policies we support. We have watched as our colleagues, convinced that no one in the company could possibly disagree with them, grow increasingly aggressive in their demands. They insist that TWDC take a strong stance on not only this issue but other legislation and openly advocate for the punishment of employees who disagree with them.

It’s time for the “silent majority” to get louder.
