Marshall University's chapters of the Criminal Justice Association and Alpha Phi Sigma will recognize Domestic Violence Awareness Month with a Victim’s Advocacy Panel, scheduled for 6:30p.m. Oct. 20 in Room 154 of Smith Hall. It's an opportunity to learn from the experts how to help and to fight for the rights of domestic violence victims and explore careers in victim advocacy.
The panelists include the following experts:

Amber Ross-Chapman, Director of Client Services, Branches Domestic Violence Shelter

Sara Blevins, Director of Development, Branches Domestic Violence Shelter

Ken Bannon, Cabell County Prosecutor's Office

Leah Tolliver, Director, Women's & Gender Center

The discussion is free and open to all, with sponsorship from the Criminal Justice Association and Alpha Phi Sigma.
